Writer's Journal #7

A key to learning to write is gaining new methods. In this course, I was taught many, like planning and looping. Looping is a freewriting technique that allows you to focus your ideas continually while trying to discover a writing topic. This activity has you ask the question, why. The first step in looping is to start with the idea, question, or task and make an outline for such. Then, you would do a timed free-write. Once you complete your timed free-write, you would look back at what you wrote and locate the central, most important, or most helpful idea. This may be something you actually wrote or inferred and extrapolated from what you wrote. Then you would redo steps 1 and 2 on each specific topic. From this, you can have a strong structure for the document. This technique is advantageous, and I'm excited to use this method in future papers. My most recent looping was an excellent opportunity to learn such ropes.

The task helped give me an outline. It revealed new significance for my literacy encounter. I have a clear direction to pursue in my continued thinking on your Writing Project. A primary insight was the remembrance of my former writing style and how I specifically improved. For example, I discovered that before, I would rely strongly on artificial ideals. Now I blend my writing.

The Looping technique will stick with me for my entire writing experience. This technique is an incredible brainstorming and prewriting strategy. This is very helpful for me. I will use this for other tasks because of how it helped prepare me for the easy.
